A: Ant 1,2,3,4 etc
G: Grasshopper 1,2,3,4 etc
N ( ) A swarm of happy grasshoppers, enjoyed the summer’s sun.
G ( ) “Let’s play and jump and enjoy ourselves, oh it’s so much fun”
N ( ) Just then a line of ants passed by dragging ears of wheat
A ( ) “Life is hard and the days are long” – A ( ) “And I can’t feel my feet”

A ‘Short Play Poem’ From Aesop’s Fables

H: Hares
T: Tortoises
F: Fox – other animals

N ( ) In the peaceful silent forest, there lived a ‘drove’ of Hares
N ( ) And also a a ‘creep’ of tortoises, with their long slow, silent stares
N ( ) The Hares would race about all day each jumping like a flea!
N ( ) The tortoises would slowly go about their days eating buttercups, for their tea
