It is showtime, and the excitement is palpable. The stage is set for a chaotic performance.
HORRID HENRY:
I'm not staying back here.
(pushes his way through the raindrops) Stop pushing, Henry.
(pushes harder, then does a few pitter-pats with the other raindrops) MISS THUMPER (waddles over to the piano and bangs on the keys)
MISS TUTU (stretches out a bony arm and yanks Henry back behind the scenery)
HORRID HENRY:
Who wants to be a raindrop anyway?
(flaps his arms and pretends he is a pterodactyl about to pounce on Miss Tutu)
Round and round I fly, homing in on my prey. PERFECT PETER (steps to the front and begins his solo) Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap - CRASH!
(the raindrops collide with the tomatoes)
(the tomatoes smash into the string beans)
(the string beans bump into the bananas) PERFECT PETER (turns his head to see what is happening and dances off the stage into the front row) MISS TUTU (faints)
