In an assembly hall, Miss Trunchbull confronts Bruce Bogtrotter about a stolen chocolate cake, leading to a hilarious showdown as Bruce is forced to eat an enormous cake in front of his classmates.

NARRATORS:
Miss Trunchbull has discovered that someone ate her snack and summons the entire school to the assembly hall.
MISS TRUNCHBULL:
The entire school will go to the assembly hall now immediately!
NARRATORS:
The children quietly marched into the assembly hall.
CHILDREN:
(Enter stage Right. Whilst walking to their places on benches or the floor Centre Stage Right) What's Up?
Beats me, etc etc.
Beats me, etc etc.
MISS TRUNCHBULL:
Sit!
NARRATORS:
The children all sit down as Miss Trunchbull takes the stage!! (Narrators move to rear of stage)
MISS TRUNCHBULL 1:
(Moves to Centre Stage) Bruce Bogtrotter. Would little Brucey come up here?
NARRATOR 1:
(Steps forward) Miss Trunchbull points at Bruce with her horse whip.
MISS TRUNCHBULL 1:
(Bruce moves to the desk and chair centre) This boy, Bruce Bogtrotter, is a vicious thief. You are disgusting!
BRUCE BOGTROTTER:
What are you talking about?
MISS TRUNCHBULL 2:
(Swaps places with MT1) Chocolate cake!! You slithered like a snake into the kitchen and ate my snack! Do you deny it? Confess!
BRUCE BOGTROTTER:
(Trembling) I can't remember.
MISS TRUNCHBULL 2:
This one was mine. It was the best cake in the world.
BRUCE BOGTROTTER:
(Sheepishly) My mum's is better.
MISS TRUNCHBULL 2:
How can you be sure unless you have another piece? MISS TRUNCHBULL (All): Sit down, Bog. (Bogtrotter sits down as MT2 moves back to group) CHILDREN (All): (Chatting and talking amongst themselves) Here we go again, not again, oh no etc.
NARRATOR 2:
(Steps forward) Miss Trunchbull puts a small chocolate cake under his nose.
MISS TRUNCHBULL 3:
(Moves Centre Stage) Smells chocolaty, doesn’t it? Now... eat it!
BRUCE BOGTROTTER:
(Very politely) I don't want any. Thank you.
MISS TRUNCHBULL 3:
Eat it! CHILDREN (All): Don't eat it. It's poisonous!
NARRATOR 3:
(Steps forward) Bruce eats the small cake.
MISS TRUNCHBULL 3:
You look like you enjoyed that.
BRUCE BOGTROTTER:
Yes, ma'am. (Stands up and starts walking towards the other children)
MISS TRUNCHBULL 3:
SIT DOWN!! You must have some more.
BRUCE BOGTROTTER:
(Very politely) No thanks.
MISS TRUNCHBULL 4:
(Swaps with MT3) But you'll hurt the cook's feelings. She made this cake just for you.
NARRATOR 4:
Miss Trunchbull takes an enormous chocolate cake from the cook and puts it in front of Bruce.
MISS TRUNCHBULL 4:
Her sweat and blood went into this cake. You will not leave this platform until you have eaten the whole cake! CHILDREN (All): URGHHH!! Disgusting!!
BRUCE BOGTROTTER:
(Astonished) The whole cake?
MISS TRUNCHBULL 4:
You wanted cake, you got cake. Now eat it! NARRATORS (All): (Stepping forward) Bruce delves into the enormous cake and starts to eat it. CHILDREN (All): Poor Brucey. He's going to puke.
NARRATOR 5:
(Steps forward) Meanwhile Miss Trunchbull is pacing slowly cracking her horse whip in her hand. CHILDREN (Separately shout out): I can't look. CHILDREN (Separately shout out): Is he going to puke? CHILDREN (Separately shout out): Yes he’s going to puke! CHILDREN (Separately shout out): Bruce looks real bad. CHILDREN (Separately shout out): (Etc. etc. as many as you can get)!!
NARRATOR 6:
(Steps forward) Bruce is really struggling to eat any more. CHILDREN (Separately shout out): You can do it, Brucey! CHILDREN (Separately shout out): Yeah, you can do it! CHILDREN (Separately shout out): Go Bruce! CHILDREN (All): (Chanting) Yeah!! GO BRUCEY, GO BRUCEY, GO BRUCEY!! (if needed): (Bruce Bogtrotter Raises his arms cheering when he’s finished the cake which is now all over his face and clothes) CHILDREN (All): Hoorrrayyy!!! Well done!!! Go Brucey!!! (All point at Bruce and freeze!) MISS TRUNCHBULL (All): Stop! Silence! …… Into the Chokey. (Points at the children, who gasp and freeze)
BRUCE BOGTROTTER:
(Retches) I’m going to PUKE!! (Runs off) (All FREEZE!!)
