On a lovely afternoon, Lucy Anne's interference with the pixies leads to a magical lesson about respecting others. As her nose grows longer with each meddling act, she learns the consequences of her actions.
Duologue
Characters: LUCY ANNE, PIXIE
(Pixies are sat quietly making daisy chains on the grass.)
PIXIE:
What a lovely afternoon, I love making daisy chains.
(worried) I hope that annoying girl does not come around me/us telling us what to do and interfering again. What was her name? I think it is…………………….. Lucy Anne. There she is, oh no she is headed this way.

LUCY ANNE:
Oh, are you threading daisies? That’s wrong, you shouldn’t do them like that. You need to do them like this! I will show you how.
PIXIE:
(snatches the daisies away from the pixie) What a horrid, interfering little girl you are poking your nose into my/our affairs. I/We are fed up with you, give me/us back the daisies, you need teaching a big lesson.
(reaches out his hand and taps Lucy Anne on the nose as he says a poem) When you poke yourself here And poke yourself there Just grow longer and sharper And make people stare!

Ow! That hurt you silly little pixie, I am going home!
(marches around and sees a boy playing marbles) Oh look at that little boy playing marbles, you will never win if you do that, this is what you should do! I will show you how!
(feels her nose growing even longer) Oh my, what’s happening, my nose, my nose, it’s growing longer and longer and is all bendy! Horrid!

Hey little girl, stop skipping like that, that’s hopeless, you’ve got it all wrong, I will show you how to skip properly!
(snatches rope and skips and then realises her nose is beginning to grow again) Oh my, what’s happening, my nose, my nose, it’s growing even longer and longer, what’s happening, this is horrid! Ooooh it has grown all the way down to my knees!

PIXIE:
Oh Lucy Anne, I could take the spell out of your nose but I just know that you will not manage to stop poking your nose where it is not wanted.
LUCY ANNE:
I feel so ashamed pixie, I promise I will try hard, please take the spell off, please! This nose is terrible and ugly!
PIXIE:
Ok, I will but I will be watching you Lucy Anne. You must stop poking that nose into everything! I will do it just this once only!
(leans forward to tap Lucy Anne's nose but Lucy Anne stops him)
